By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and affirm that you are over the age of 18 and, if applicable, a registered owner or authorized representative of the property where the installation will occur.

Intellectual Property

The content, including texts, graphics, logos, and images on our website, is the property of FirstSunSolar and is protected under intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any website content is strictly prohibited.

Payments and Rebates

All payments for solar PV systems must be completed prior to installation.

Customers agree to assign Small-Scale Technology Certificates (STCs) to FirstSunSolar as part payment for the system, subject to eligibility.

In cases where STCs are not applicable, the full payment of the system is due before installation.

Installation Terms

We will endeavour to install your system within a reasonable timeframe. However, delays due to weather, material availability, regulatory changes, or force majeure events are not grounds for compensation. The customer provides FirstSunSolar and its contractors access to the property for installation and other related activities.

Liability and Risk

Ownership and risk of the solar system pass to the customer upon installation and full payment. FirstSunSolar is not liable for damage to property caused during installation except in cases of proven negligence.

Warranty

FirstSunSolar provides a 20-year workmanship warranty on all installations, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and service. Additionally, the solar products, including panels, inverters, batteries, and EV chargers are covered by industry-standard warranties provided by the manufacturers, which cover material, manufacturing defects, and performance guarantees for specified periods. For detailed information on specific warranty terms, conditions, and claim processes, please refer to our dedicated 'Warranties' page or the supplier brochures available on our website.

Roof Leaks

FirstSunSolar warrants the integrity of its solar installations against roof leaks for a period of 12 months from the date of installation. This warranty covers any roof leaks directly caused by the installation process.

Exclusions:

• Roof leaks occurring after the 12-month warranty period are not covered, as they may result from causes beyond FirstSunSolar's control. This warranty does not cover leaks caused by subsequent work or modifications done to the roof by other parties, natural wear and tear, or extreme weather conditions.

• For any roof leak issues within the 12-month warranty period, please contact FirstSunSolar immediately for an inspection and resolution.

Cooling Off Period

Customers are entitled to a cooling-off period as defined by Australian Consumer Law.

Termination

FirstSunSolar reserves the right to terminate services under specific circumstances. Customers may also terminate their contract within the cooling-off period.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction of which they arise.
